ÉTS LARCASE research laboratory activities focus on aeroservoelasticity (aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), aeroelasticity and aircraft controls), and aircraft modelling and simulation (aircraft and helicopters) using actual data collected in flight and in wind tunnels. The LARCASE laboratory is one of the few multidisciplinary research laboratories in Canada with three pieces of state-of-the-art research apparatus: a Cessna Citation X Business Aircraft Research Flight Simulator, an Open Return Subsonic Wind Tunnel and an Autonomous Aerial System (UAS).
