SARA Abstract Contest— Another Success

In November 2017, SARA launched the third edition of its Abstract Contest to promote good science communication, and publicize ÉTS research. To participate, students had to summarize their research project in 1000 words maximum, as if it were to be submitted to a scientific conference. A jury made up of 16 ÉTS professors evaluated the 27 abstracts on the basis of presentation clarity and quality of the research objectives, methodology, results or hypotheses, and conclusion.
The level of excellence of the texts made judging difficult. Nevertheless, five texts stood out, and the winner was Prabin Pradhan. You can view the complete list of winners on the SARA website.
Over the next few weeks, Substance will publish several articles from the 2017 SARA Abstract Contest to increase the visibility of ÉTS student research projects and help readers discover fascinating topics.
